Text Stamps

There have been a lot of questions about text stamps and we wanted to do a project that would illustrate that you can do amazing text stamps using very fine text. This is a moving home tag made by Amanda Jones using custom text created in Word.

When you create text stamps for the Stampmaker, you want to create them so you can read it when you print it out on the film to create the negative.
DO NOT invert or mirror the words or your stamp will come out backwards!

The stamp is shown with the stamp side up-this is the side you would normally ink up to stamp.  When working with very detailed images we recommend you flash your stamps.  Basically this means once you put the polymer and negative together in the clamp you put it in the stampmaker upside down for 3 seconds, then remove it and put it back in the correct way for 3 minutes  as you normally would.  When you clean your stamp you will have a thin layer of polymer that helps hold the details on the stamp. Hope these tips help you with your stamp making.  If you have any questions please contact us and we would be happy to help you out in any way or walk you through the process.

We want everyone to be able to make their own custom stamps.
