Graduation Cards by Julie Jacob

With graduations galore taking place why not get some fabulous inspiration from the Creative Team. Take a look at the cards that Julie has put together using the May download negative. Thank you.
Here is how Julie created her Graduation cards:
Supplies used:Patterned paper: Green dot - October Afternoon, Chevron - Crate Paper, Cream - Teresa Collins
Black cardstock, jute, dictionary paper, corrugated coffee sleeve
Ink - Tsukineko (VersaFine - Onyx Black)
Border Punch - American Crafts
Butterfly Punch - Martha Stewart
Bling - Teresa Collins
3D Foam Squares - Thermoweb
Congrats Stamp/Graduation stamp - Teresa Collins Stampmaker
Sandpaper Dictionary card:
This card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Use black cardstock for the base...the folded edge is at the left.
Cut green dot paper 4 1/4" x 4 and adhere. Leave a bit of room at the top for tucking in the border piece.
Sand the side edges, if desired.
Stamp Congrats onto dictionary paper...I used the graduation page...and trim. Tear bottom edge.
Mat with black cardstock and tear bottom edge.
Adhere to green dot paper in center.
Punch scallop border from chevron paper and adhere behind top edge.
Add bling to tassle.
Add corrugated butterfly to left edge of dictionary paper.
Graduation card:This card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Use the green dot paper for the base...the folded edge is at the top.
Sand all edges, if desired.
Cut a piece of chevron paper 4 1/4" x 2 3/4" and tear the bottom edge.
Adhere to center of card...sand edges.
Stamp Graduation eye chart stamp onto cream paper and cut out leaving approx. 1/4" border.
Mat on black cardstock.
Adhere to card with 3D foam squares.
Add jute to top of card.
