Love you everyday by Amanda Jones Robinson

Amanda Jones Robinson has made a simple but striking card using stamps in a layered way.
All the stamps are available FREE from the Teresa Collins Stampmaker website
(stamps were also designed by Amanda!). Thank you.

Here are Amanda's notes for you...
What you need
Stamps created with Free August download available from www.teresacollinsstampmaker.com
Chevron stamps, heart stamp and days of the week stamp using stampmaker.
White blank card – 6” x 4”
Red, brown and light brown distress ink, brown Staz On ink
Wooden frame by Studio Calico
Time taken: 30 minutes
What to do
11.   Lightly ink the days of the week stamp with light brown distress ink. Don’t ink the entire stamp so that it creates a distressed effect. Stamp it once onto the background of the card centred slightly above middle.
22.  Stamp the chevron border overlapping the left side of the card using darker brown distress ink.
33.  Stamp ONE of the hearts from the heart border stamp onto a piece of white cardstock, using red distress ink,  and trim to fit behind the wooden frame.
44.  Use brown Staz On ink to stamp the days of the week stamp onto the wooden frame, then adhere the frame to the front of the card so that the chevron is pointing to it.

TIPS I wanted a distressed look on my card so used distress inks for stamping the designs onto the cardstock. I used Staz On to stamp on wood because it is more porous and I wanted to make sure the design was readable on that embellishment.
