‘Total Wipeout?’ Scrapbook Layout by Jules Dix

A big hello and thank you to Jules from Scrapping Mojo who created this scrapbook layout using a couple of stamps from the August FREE stamp design downloads.
Love the hexagon shape which seems to be everywhere at the moment.

What you need

August stampmaker download stamps (cevrons and hexagon) and black inkpad
Patterned papers (Studio Calico ‘Heyday’)
Embellishments (washi tape, wood veneer word, butterfly stickers)
Alphas (Studio Calico alpha stickers)

How to create this project

Using the hexagon stamp from the August download stamps, stamp the image several times on various patterned papers, taking care not to get ink on the central fleur-de-lys pattern.
Cut out the hexagon shapes and arrange on a piece of coordinating cardstock.
Layer your photos on top of the hexagon pattern and stamp the chevron stamp from the August download stamps to the top right of the photo block.
Layer a strip of washi tape, a butterfly sticker and a wood veneer word over the corner of the photo, so it overlaps the chevron pattern.
Add your title to the opposite corner of the photo block, using alpha stickers layered over butterfly stickers.

Time taken
1 hour

If you get ink on a part of the stamp that you don’t want, use a baby wipe to gently wipe it off before stamping  your image
