YOU ROCK by Julie Jacob

You Rock by Julie Jacob
Using the speech bubble free stamp download from October - available on the Teresa Collins Stampmaker website - Julie has created a great card. Thanks.

Here's how she did this...
What you need
Teresa Collins Now & Then: Patterned papers: Wood Grain, Red Flower, & Words.
6x6 paper pad - floral paper (multi color)
Die cut sheet - 'here's the story' and 'Reason no. 4,376' pieces
Decorative brads #1 - large red
Teresa Collins Stampmaker + October free download (speech bubble stamp)
Ink - VersaFine Onyx Black - Tsukineko
Punches - Flower petals (2 sizes) - Fiskars, Corner Rounder punch - EK Success
Washi Tape - My Mind's Eye
Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher
3D Foam Squares
Dictionary paper
Sewing machine + red thread
What to do
1. Cut Now & Then Wood Grain paper to 8.5" x 5.5". Fold in half...corner round punch all corners. This is the base of your card.

2. Cut red houndstooth (back of Red Flower) paper to 4.25" x 3". Adhere to card and sew around edges.

3. Stamp the speech bubble on the ledger side of the Words paper. Cut out.

4. Punch flower petals from floral paper and dictionary paper. Arrange and glue together. Use red brad for center.

5. Add flower to left side of card with 3D foam squares.

6. Add 'here's the story' die cut piece to top right of houndstooth piece. Add the 'reason' piece to top of speech bubble. Sand the edges before adhering, if you like.

7. I custom made the 'you rock' stamp, and stamped it below the reason piece. You could use a stamp that says 'I love you'...or just about anything. :)

8. Add speech bubble to card with 3D foam squares.

9. Adhere washi tape to bottom edge of card & add staples.
