Christmas Gift Bags by Petra Offrell

We wanted to share another festive themed project.
Love these deep, rich colours contrasting against the stark white and black.

Thanks Petra. Here are some notes on how you can create your own gift bags too!

What you need
November Photocentric downloads to make stamps
2 white cardstock.
2 scraps of Christmas pattern paper. I used Teresa Collins Christmas cottage collection. Organza ribbon and a hole punch.

What to do
I like having a small gift to bring when I visit friends during the holydays. These small gift bags are easily made and perfect for that. You can fill them with chocolate or jewellery. They can also be used as gift wraps for small Christmas presents or just as Christmas decorations.
Just cut out the bag according to the template. Before you fold and glue make sure you stamp. Fold and glue and then glue on the scrap of PP. Make the holes and tie a rosette.

Time taken
40 minutes.

Here you will find a template for the gift bag:

TIPS
I have this revolving hole punch which is perfect as I can make different sizes of holes. The only bad thing is that I cannot make holes too far into the paper. Make sure that the holes for the ribbon are at a suitable height where you can access with your hole punch both on the top and on the bag. If you make them too low on the top you might not reach in when making them on the bag itself.

Christmas tree ornaments by Julie Jacob

A huge thanks to Julie Jacob for creating this wonderful Christmas Stampmaker project! This decorated tree looks so cute! Love it.

Here's how Julie made it...

What you need:
Flower die cut
Burlap
Red sparkly ribbon
3D foam squares
Dictionary paper
1.25" circle punch
TC Stampmaker & November download (snowflake stamps)
sparkly centers for snowflakes
Black ink - VersaFine - Onyx Black
What to do
1. Die cut several flower layers from the burlap material.
2. Layer the flowers with 3D foam squares between.
3. Stamp snowflakes on dictionary paper.
4. Punch snowflakes out with 1.5" circle punch.
5. Adhere snowflake circle to top burlap flower.
6. Add sparkly flower center.
7. Adhere red sparkly ribbon for hanging on your tree!

I also made an ornament using Inkssentials (Ranger) Memory Glass.
Stamp the snowflake on dictionary paper...and then cut to fit the glass square.
Place between glass layers, and into frame.
Add bling for snowflake center.
Add ribbon and jute for hanging. :)
